Crazy Amigo - Birthday Card
A friend ask me for a special birthday card and this is what I came up with yesterday. The background paper is a lite yellow with a very pale design on it. I added a little Distress Ink in Antique Linen and then I used a gold glitter pen around the edges. The parrot image is from Altered Pages and it is a transparency and I like the way the yellow worked as a background for this one. I used a green ribbon from Memoryvilla.com and added a yellow and orange on top of that. The birds and butterfly are from K & Co. I generated the text and printed that on a darker yellow and added Distressed Ink in Spiced Marmalade to the edges.
Thanks for taking a look and I would really like to read you comments.

You Will Be Missed
Send Love Today Card
I just sent out this card to a friend at SLT. The background paper and the card with the saying on it is from the new Fancy Pants Sweet Spring Collection. I used a matching glitter glue on the diamond pattern and cut little slits to weave the ribbon through. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. It is reversible, brown on one side and a real pretty blue on the other. The buttons are from Foof-a La.
Thanks for looking and I would love to see your comments.

Theme Thursday - Pink and Brown
This week’s theme is the color combo “pink and brown”. Use these colors as the main colors in your creation this week! You may use other colors as well, but have pink and brown as your main colors in your art!
I call this Pretty In Pink - the background and pink fairy are images from
Altered Pages, I added a pink and brown check ribbon and a pink and brown button. The words are computer generated and touched with a little Distressed Ink in Worn Lipstick.
Thanks for taking a look and please leave a comment.

Peace Card
The Background paper is from ChatterBox, and the other piece has been sprayed with a mixture of Worn Lipstick Distressed Re-Inker, water and a metallic powder. You really can't see the shine with the scan, but it's there. The letters are Grungeboard from Tim Holtz embossed with Distressed Embossing Powders Dusty Concord and Peeled Paint. I cut out the butterflies from Vellum and the larger butterfly is a sticker from K & Company.
Skinny Saturday Child of Grace
Tuesdays child is full of grace,
Wednesdays child is full of woe,
Thursdays child has far to go
Fridays child is loving and giving,
Saturdays child works hard for his living,
And the child that is born on the Sabbath day Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.
I would love you to use the inspiration from this poem and incorporate this into your Skinny.

Theme Thursday Paris
This one didn't scan very good, but there is gold glitter pen on the flower paper that spells Paris, pink glitter pen outlining the flower paper and silver glitter pen outlining the picture. I thought the picture looked like lovers in Paris. The flower is a very delicate sepia colored lace with a pink jewel in the center.

Happy Everything Card - Created Byhand
I just saw the theme for Created Byhand and this card will work perfectly. The Theme is:
Create art using sprays, spritzs, mists or spatters! Use a spray, spritz, spatter or mist along with stamps, inks, paints, embellishments, fancy papers to create art.
The background and blue swirl papers are from BasicGrey. The paper that I used to stamped on is just a plain cream color sprayed with a pink and green sparkle mixture that I made from Distress Re-Inkers, Worn Lipstick and Pine Needles and MoonGlow iridescent powders. I then stamped the flowers, from Hero's Arts with Brilliance Pearlescent Chocolate. I added the ribbon and the felt flower with a crystal.
