COF Domino Swap

Our monthly exchange at Circle of Friends for January is Altered Dominos. For mine I drilled a small hole in each one and then painted them with Pewter Crackle Paint, it didn't crackle, but I really like the surface it left when it dried.  The collage image is from Altered Pages and the hearts were punched from red cardstock.  I added glitter glue around the hearts and glued ribbon all around the edges of the domino. I added a small chain to each finished domino.

One Powerful Hour Challenge - Birthdays

This week at One Powerful Hour my friend Caroline is having a birthday so for this weeks challenge she has chosen "Birthdays".  Here is my Vintage Birthday Card.  Using brown cardstock and a pink printed paper I created the base for the card and I added a pretty pink ribbon over the seam.  I used Distressed Inks in Tea Dye and Worn Lipstick on the tag and the images are from Altered Pages.  I added buttons and a bit of glittery stars and flowers.

Thanks for taking a look and another Happy Birthday to Caroline!!

Caardvark Challenge, SLT

Using a new card sketch from Caardvarks I created this card for their challenge and I am sending to a friend with Send Love Today.  I used the ribbon to divide up the card a bit and then added my four sections.  The image is from European Papers, I added pink glitter glue and a blue button to the pink and brown section.  My flower is a transparent material so you can see the background paper and then using my Dymo I added "Dreams" and a couple of stars from  Really Reasonable Ribbons.  The stars are a ribbon, I just cut them apart.

Give this four part sketch a try, it was really fun to put together.

Jointed Doll Swap

I am doing a swap with a friend and this one was to make a Jointed Doll and this is my version.  My stamp is from Paula Best - I stamped it with Green Staz-On ink onto GrungeBoard.  I then used H2O's and painted all the designs and added glitter glue in different places.  The crown is also GrungeBoard and I painted that with Bronze Crackle Paint from Tim Holtz.  I found tiny button brads to put it all together with.

Thanks for taking a look and hope you enjoy my site.

Hugs
