4 x 4 Friday - Vintage Bride

This week the Challenge at 4 x 4 Firday is Vintage Bride. This is a perfect one for me as I just got a new Collage Sheet from Altered Pages with this beautiful bride.

The background paper is from BasicGrey - Sultry, I used Distressed Ink in Antique Lines over the whole piece and then stamped the swirls, Hero Arts, with Tea Dyed. I used white chiffon ribbon on the sides, you can see that better if you click in the picture, flowers from Prima and I added a bit of color using Distress Inks in Tea Dyed and Worn Lipsitck. Words were made with Dymo Labeler and paper. I sanded the embossed letters to get them white. I added Diamond Glitter Glue to the ribbon and the Brides dress for the bit of sparkle. Every Bride wants to Shine!!

Thanks for looking and please leave a comment.

4X4 Friday - Circus

This week at 4x4 Friday the theme is CIRCUS. As soon as I saw this image I know it was the one to use.

The background paper is from Fresh Asparagus, the image is from Altered Pages, and I added the Circus Training - by running strips of paper through the Dymo Labler, I put on the buttons and some fun ribbon.

Thanks for looking.

4 x 4 Friday King or Queen

This week for 4x4 Friday the challenge given is:

This weeks theme is Kings and Queens! Be sure to use a king or a queen on your 4×4 creation! Use your creativity with this one!:)

I wanted to take a different approach this week so here she is my Queen Bee. The background is a metallic purple which I added a little Tattered Rose Crackle Paint from Tim Holtz and while the paint was wet I added a bit of lavender glitter. The bee is a stamp from Stampers Anonymous and I painted it with H2O's so it is sparkly too. The crowns are from Maya Road, painted with a Silver from Ranger and they have a bit of glitter also.
Hope you like my different take on this one. Thanks for taking a look and I would love to see your comments.

4 x 4 Friday DaVinci Ladies

The challenge for 4x4 Friday this week is:

Use any of the Da Vinci Ladies on your 4×4- other than Mona Lisa!

I have chosen to use Madonna of the Cat. I found that I had a book on DaVinci and I found this painting in there. This picture is before a restoration and been done and there is a large crack down the middle of the picture.
I took a 4x4 of watercolor paper, painted it with Distressed Crackle Paint and then when that was dry I went over it with Tea Dyed Distressed Ink. I stamped the pens with Vintage Photo Distressed Ink. I added a little gold ribbon and the purple and gold scrap of paper.
Thanks for taking a look.
